Children’s Ministry

HighPoint Kids

HighPoint Kids is our Age 3-6th Grades Children’s Ministry that meets Sunday Evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm (Breaks for Summer and Christmas).

What is HighPoint Kids?

HighPoint is a Bible-based children’s program that builds character, with Christ at the center! Kids travel to heart-changing destinations and build small group relationships that help them become the strong disciples God created THEM to be!

HighPoint Teaches Kids to Connect with Jesus Christ and Develop Godly Character

HighPoint’s two-fold discipleship philosophy begins with the premise that godly character grows out of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Then HighPoint helps children apply the Bible’s teaching to their lives in tangible ways.  Each theme presents the gospel message, and children discover that Christian character growth does not result from their own efforts but through their relationship with God. In addition, ample opportunity is given for God to work in children’s hearts through HighPoint’s interactive Bible stories and small group times, which include discussion and prayer. HighPoint uses short, five-week-long themes to address specific topics for continued, ongoing discipleship to children.

Youth Mission Statement

The youth ministry here at Fellowship Baptist Church exists to reach teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them develop a mature faith in Him. While the primary responsibility falls Biblically on the parents for spiritual maturation we also realize we as a church have an important role. We desire to partner with parents and help in any way possible to accomplish this goal. Our purpose is to provide sound Biblical teaching that radically changes the lives of our teens for the purpose of following Christ and winning others to Him. We desire to help our teens experience fellowship with God and other believers, and to be challenged in their walk with Christ to serve others by letting God lead them whenever and wherever He may.

How to Help out with the Youth:

We require anyone working with Children or Youth to have been an active part of our church for some time. We may also require and application and background checks, because the safety of our Children and Youth is a top priority. You would would with our Youth pastor Josiah.

Our Choir sings cantatas most Christmas’s and often for the Resurrection Celebration at Easter. Many ages are involved, from Youth to Senior Adults. Several also sing Solo’s for special music or as part of Choral arrangements. Check out our Services to hear our Choir and join us in Worship!
