Missions

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20

Obeying this Great Commission is the major priority of Fellowship Baptist Church. To accomplish this, every member is called upon to do their part in making and discipling other followers of Christ.

Many of our members also engage in mission trips and mission work locally and abroad. The FBI Youth have taken mission trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, and plan to go to Costa Rica. Other members participate in various missions and ministries such as the Baptist Men and Associational Mission Trips to places like Honduras and Kentucky.

Additionally, we follow examples from Scripture in supporting missions outreach in our own community and abroad (2 Corinthians 8-9, 2 Corinthians 10:15-16). Supporting missions locally and abroad is an important part of pursuing the Great Commission.
