“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Obeying this Great Commission is the major priority of Fellowship Baptist Church. To accomplish this, every member is called upon to do their part in making and discipling other followers of Christ.
Many of our members also engage in mission trips and mission work locally and abroad. The Fellowship Youth have taken mission trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico. Other members participate in various missions and ministries such as the Baptist Men and Associational Mission Trips to places like Honduras, Kentucky, and Virginia.
Additionally, we follow examples from Scripture in supporting missions outreach in our own community and abroad (2 Corinthians 8-9, 2 Corinthians 10:15-16). Supporting missions locally and abroad is an important part of pursuing the Great Commission.
