What to expect

Thinking of planning a visit?

We want your first experience at Fellowship to be relaxed and for you and your family to enjoy the service. So, here is some information to help you know what to expect.

What times are the services?

What should I do when I arrive?

When you arrive, enter by any of the main doors. The doors under the stained glass cross is the entrance nearest the sanctuary. The left most doors enter our hallways, which also lead to the sanctuary. If it’s raining, a pull through is available at the left side of the building to drop off individuals.

A greeter can help you find the nursery if needed, and can show you where your children may meet for Sunday School or Children’s Church. Our Children’s Church is for up-through 2nd Graders, and children are dismissed during the course of the morning service. This way the whole family can worship together for the first few minutes, and young kids get to experience a little bit of big church.

You may pick up a one page bulletin near an entryway. This bulletin includes important information about upcoming events. Check out what’s going on that might interest you.

Please let us know how to get in touch with you to see how we did by using the card and pen in the back of the pew in front of you. Drop the card in the box at back of the church before you go.

On your way in, if you have questions, just look for one of our courteous greeters or any member. We have a friendly fellowship, and folks are happy to help!

What are the messages like?

Our goal every Sunday is to teach the timeless truths of the Bible in a way that is engaging and applicable to your life. You will find that the messages are grounded in Scripture, practical, and easy to understand.

What about the music?

The music at Fellowship is a blend of congregational singing and choral song. We sing the old classic hymns, along with newer Christian music for congregational, solo, and choir singing. Our Choir is a sound to behold – you don’t want to miss them.

What’s available for my kids?

Fellowship offers several clean, safe and exciting children’s opportunities.

  • Sunday School is available for children, teens, and adults at 9:30am.
  • Children’s Church: During the 10:30am Sunday Worship Service we have Children’s Church for children up to 2nd Grade. Children are dismissed during the course of the morning service to Children’s Church, so the whole family can worship together for the first few minutes. We love having kids in service too, so any age staying in service is just fine.
  • Nursery: A birth to age 2 nursery is staffed and available during Sunday School, and Worship Service.
  • Sunday evening 6:30-8:00 pm is our major children’s program, called HighPoint Kids.

In all of our children’s programming your children will experience fun Bible lessons, activities and games to help support the building of a solid spiritual foundation.

There are many opportunities for the whole family. You can check them out here on our Family Opportunities page.

Covid-19 Safety Precautions:
  • Hand sanitizer & extra masks are available.
  • All spaces have been cleaned and sanitized.
  • Wearing masks is left for individuals to decide. Some do wear masks as need dictates.
  • Anyone with Covid is asked to stay home to protect others who may be vulnerable.
Not able to attend In-Person Services?

If you aren’t able to attend in person, you can still attend church online. Sunday Morning Worship is live-streamed at 10:30am at Facebook.com/fellowshipsilercity. Services are also posted to Youtube normally by Sunday afternoon, and can be found at our Sermons and Services page.

What’s available during the week?

Prayer, Children and Youth Ministry, and Bible Studies make up some of our weekday opportunities. Wednesday evening is time to focus on prayer, with a core group meeting to pray at our 6:30 pm Prayer Meeting. The 7th-12th grade Youth also meet on Wednesday 6:30-7:30 pm. Age 3 through 6th Grade Children have HighPoint Kids on Sundays, 6:30-8:00 pm.

Seasonally, Bible Studies are held by our Women’s Ministry during the week. Our Men meet for Prayer Breakfast normally the 3rd Sunday of each month.
